Jazz Jackrabbit HQ - Games - Pre-OEM Screenshots - Other
Spaz suddenly discovers grass beneath his feet!

There's nothing too special about this shot, but I don't think this area exists in the final version. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
This screenshot is just plain weird.

Three big differences. One, the background castle is floating in the water. Two, wrong time of day (Day and Night are also seen to be switched for Carrotus in OEM versions). Three, look at the textured background. I can't explain it. Just take a look. Truly incredible how many revisions that effect has gone through.
Shouldn't Jazz be looking up? I'd be looking up, with those teeth...

Interesting. The background is put together differently (nice diagonal lines there - you can still see parts of this background viewing the tileset in JCS), and the water effect is wavier and doesn't put weird horizontal lines all over the screen. The only real problem are the black things on the edges of the screen, a problem which would later be fixed by having everything leave trails if there's no background.
I wonder what weapon he's using. Looks like... rocket launcher?

This screenshot is not very exciting, but we get to see Psych with a different palette.
One of the more better known prototype screenshots. MONKEY!

Different palette for the tileset, an airboard in a Jungle level, monkeys which hang from trees, and still no score.
